Throughout the month of December Santa made his way to almost every neighborhood in the Level first due fire protection district. We had a lot of positive feed back from the community and hope to make this a yearly tradition
Rescue 151 Engine 111 Medic 192 Paramedic 1 responded to a single vehicle MVC around 8pm on Rt 161 in the area of Wilkinson Rd. Rescue 151 Engine 111 extricated 1 patient from the vehicle. 1 patient was transported to a local trauma center. Units returned to service a short time later.
Rescue 151 Engine 111 Ambulance 192 PM1 along with Medic 391 392 from The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company Medic 291 292 from Aberdeen Fire Department Inc. responded to an accident around 450pm. The incident was located on Rt 136 just south of Rt 22. Rescue 151 removed 1 door from a vehicle to remove a patient. In all 6 patients were transported.
Engine 113 Ambulance 192 Paramedic 1 handled a fly out of a trauma patient today in our first due. The patient was packaged by EMS unit while Engine 113 secured a landing zone for the helicopter. Patient was loaded and transported to a trauma center.

Engine 112 Tanker 121 operated on a working structure fire on Mill Green Rd in Dublin. Engine 112 arrived and stretched a 400 pre-connected 2 handline to the Charlie side to assist with fire attack using foam. Tanker 121 supplied the fire scene. Crews operated for over 2 hours before returning to service.

Around 1030am Level received a phone call from Harford Community College requesting a fire truck to come at Noon for their weekly movie day. Engine 112 loaded up and met with over 75 kids adults and showed off the fire truck. Kids were also given a plastic fire helmet
On July 1 2015 Level Volunteer Fire Company received word that we were granted an ISO rating of a 4 from the previous 9 rating for the Eagle RestAldino-Stepney Rd Area development. The company is still working to better the overall ISO score for the rest of the response area.The new rating will take affect Oct. 12015 and should help about 150 homeowners with their insurance rating. It is with deep regret that the Level Volunteer Fire Company announces the death of firefighterEMT Edward Steininger Sr on June 11th 2015. Memorial services will be held at Level Fire Hall on Sunday June 14th at one oclock in the afternoon. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.Below is an obituary from his familys facebookEdward Steininger Sr.passed away peacefully at his home in Havre de Grace Thursday morning. He was 58. He is survived by his mother Ann Steininger wife Joyce Steininger son Chip Steininger daughter in law Courtney daughter Nichole Briney and her fianc Drew Donnon son Eddie Hawkins and his grandchildren Mackenna Nathan Steininger Jaelyn Emilie Jason Briney Alexis Andrea Jackson Donnon He is also survived by his siblings brother sister in law Franklin and Sheila Steininger brother Mark Steininger sister brother in law Debbie Frank McFadden. Along with his immediate family Ed will be remembered by a large group of friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his beloved father Everett Steininger of Snow Hill MD and his dear friend Linwood Donoway of Newark MD. Ed dedicated his life to helping others by holding the following positions in his community Commander of the Northern Central District of the Sons of the American Legion Chairman of the Casey Cares Committee Chairman of the Toys for Tots Committee and Chairman for the Wounded Warrior Project. Ed was also a Firefighter and EMT for Level Volunteer Fire Company. Memorial services will be held at Level Fire Hall on Sunday June 14th at one oclock in the afternoon.
