Firefighters Respond to Brush Fire on Churchville Road

March 1st 2025 – Level Fire Company swiftly responded to a brush fire in the 3000 block of Churchville Road earlier today. Firefighters from Supply 1, Tanker 1, UTV 1, Brush 1, and Engine 113 arrived at the scene to find active flames fueled by gusty winds reaching up to 30 mph.

Despite the challenging conditions, the firefighters quickly worked to control the fire and prevent it from spreading further. Thanks to their efforts, the fire was contained with minimal damage to the surrounding area.

The fire was fully extinguished, and the scene has been secured. There were no reports of injuries, and minimal fire damage was noted.

Level Fire Company would like to remind residents to remain cautious during dry and windy conditions, as these can contribute to the rapid spread of wildfires
