In the early hours of the morning, Level Volunteer Fire Company (VFC) provided critical support to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company at a house fire in the 1800 block of Wheel Road. Engine 113, Rescue Engine 1, and Tanker 1 responded with nine dedicated volunteers to assist with the operation.
Upon arrival, first-in crews encountered a house fully involved in flames. Tanker 1 served as a nurse tanker, supplying water directly to the fire scene, while Engine 113 and Rescue Engine 1 each shuttled three loads of water to support suppression efforts.
Level VFC personnel worked tirelessly alongside Bel Air crews, assisting with fire attack and mop-up operations to ensure the fire was fully extinguished. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of all responders, the incident was managed effectively, and crews returned safely to Level VFC shortly before 5:00 a.m.
